Changes to one card instantly appear in all mirrored. You could use this as inspiration to make other changes sync between both cards. Meet Mirror, our new Trello Power Up that lets you duplicate cards across as many boards as you'd like and keep them all in perfect sync. The variable at the end is what copies the source/trigger card's description. Once the keyword is in the description once any changes made after are automatically synced by replacing the description with the new save entirely, so you don't need to add it each time you make a new change. This next rule will keep the description up-to-date when the keyword "Update:" is included somewhere in the description. That card makes a nice copy of the card and links the cards together to help with other rules you'll create. When the yellow "Mirror" label is added to a card, copy the card to the top of list "Mirrored" on board "Overview" and link the cards together Replace "Overview" with the name of the board you'll share with your boss. Here are the two rules I'm envisioning to get you started. Mirror enables you to collaborate more efficiently by duplicating individual cards between boards and keeping all card content syncing two-ways. It takes a little bit of work to set it up but with Premium's unlimited quota it should hopefully work out well for you, and Butler is already included in your subscription so you don't have to pay an extra fee. My idea is when you add a certain label to a card, Butler will copy that card to your boss' shared board and will link it with the source card. As long as she's a member of just 1 Premium board it doesn't cost a fee for her to view and edit that board.
Hey again! What kind of birds eye view do you want to give your boss? Like mhp said, you could set up some Butler commands that can generally sync content from a source board to a single overview board in your Premium workspace that your boss has joined.
